Let's Trade Logos
Trading links with companies you like provides several benefits:
- Increased traffic to your site
- Referrals attract a more qualified prospect
- Higher rankings in search engines especially Google
For a link exchange program to work both sites need to have a links page and use keywords to
identify the link. For example if you were to add a link to a
caterer in Nashville it would be better to have the anchor text (the blue underlined words) say
"Catering in Nashville" and not "Click Here". The reason is that search engines look at the text
around a link to determine what it is about. When you link with Who's Who please provide
the site address, the keywords for you link and a short description of your business.
When you list a link partner you are endorsing that company so be sure you can. Do not just
throw up as many links as you can. Carefully consider each and ask will this link provide
value for my customers and would I do business with them? Finally never pay for links, this
can lead to a severe penalty by Google.
Send your link information to Nancy Lowery and we will be happy to review
and get back with you.
